Each day, whether we realize it or not, a quiet battle unfolds within us. A battle between fear and love, shadow and light.

The Cherokee Legend speaks of this through The Tale of Two Wolves. One walks with the spirit of peace and that heals, the other with the weight of pain and that harms.

It’s a reminder that the path we walk is shaped by the energy we choose to feed.

Let today be the day that you choose to feed the wolf of love, peace and light within.

As we gather in the warmth of family and community, our hearts are filled with deep gratitude for each person who has trusted us to walk beside them, to hold space and to be part of their healing journey in our personal work, private services, event’s and ceremonies.

This Thanksgiving, we honour not only the hands we hold around the table, but also the unseen one. The Angels, the Ancestors, the Guides and Pachamama herself who continue to nurture, protect and remind us that we are never walking alone.

To our beautiful Tribe Called Blessed community, Thank You for allowing us to serve, to listen and to grow with you. Your courage, your stories and your light are the heartbeat of our work.

Our hearts and souls are longing for growth and transformation on a spirituat level, which requires a deep shedding of the past, our buried traumas and disappointment.

The Hunters Moon allows us to acknowledge our darker / shadow selves and the parts we keep hidden from others. Welcome the Raven into your life. The Raven is not only a messenger of Spirit but can help you to find your light in the darkness and provides balance as you move through your healing.

WELCOME OCTOBER 🪶

As October arrives, I allow myself to turn over a new leaf. Just as the trees release what no longer serves them, I let go of what I have been holding onto.

I honour my past, but I choose to no longer carry its weight. Instead, I am ready to make space for fresh beginnings.

The crisp autumn air reminds me that change is natural, necessary and sacred.
With each breath, I root into Mother Earth, trusting her to hold me steady as I step into renewal.

This month, I choose to release, I choose to take a sacred pause, I choose to find more balance and I choose to walk forward lighter, freer and open to what is waiting ahead. Amen. Aho. And so it is.”

A day completely dedicated to ceremony and I am deeply honoured to have been invited to stand alongside, witness, smudge, sing, drum and take part on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

It began in ceremony with a private invite to support and witness the raising of the Canadian Indigenous flag, while singing sacred indigenous songs and drumming alongside the newly adorned flagpole.

The afternoon was spent honouring and walking The Sacred Medicine Wheel with my peers, elders and wisdom keepers. This is such a sacred ritual and practice. To be in ceremony this way is nothing short of an honour and I am so grateful to be rooted in such a beautiful community.

September 30th is a time to educate and remember the children who never returned home, to honour the courageous survivors of residential schools, to acknowledge and take responsibility for the horrific events so this never happens again and to understand the lasting impact these institutions continue to have on Indigenous communities across Canada.

It is also a day for all of us to listen, learn and pledge to commit to sharing what we know, for generations to come.

I stand as an ally, in solidarity with my Indigenous spirit mother, knowledge keepers, friends, peers and community members, today and always.

Through my commitment to service work within the Indigenous community, I’ve witnessed the depth of culture, ceremony, tradition and resilience that continues to thrive despite so much harm.

With Sister Mediums, I try my best to hold space and weave the sacred teachings into tangible lessons, to share in our ceremonies, to honour, to speak truthfully and with humility and to root Indigenous healing into our Tribe Called Blessed community.

I Thank each of reading and watching this video for walking with me. 🪶

Do you know why you wear the orange shirt? 🧡

Reconciliation begins within us, healing our own hearts, mending relationships in our families and finding peace with the world around us. 🧡

As we approach September 30th the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, let us reflect on the many ways reconciliation calls to us personally, collectively and within our communities.

Truth means listening to the stories of Indigenous peoples and acknowledging the history of residential schools, stolen land, missing and murdered Indigenous women and all the children who were taken, tortured and never returned home. Phyllis Webstad is a residential school survivor and the reason that the “orange shirt” came to be. 🧡 Truth also means being honest with ourselves about our own hurts, our own patterns and the places within us that need healing.

🧡 Reconciliation is not just a word, it’s an action. It’s showing up with respect, and committing to healing within our own families and communities too.

🧡 September 30th reminds us that reconciliation is not a single day, it is a way of life. When we honour truth and when we choose reconciliation in our hearts we begin to create a future rooted in respect, healing and love for all our relations. Amen. Aho. And so it is.

🌾This month’s FULL MOON provides an opportunity for self reflection and a fresh start. Even though for some that may be daunting, it is necessary to step out of your comfort zone and recognize what’s not working for you and what you give too much time and energy to. And create space to reassess your priorities. Do it with purpose, on purpose.

🌾This month harnesses a time of celebration, hard work and pay off before hibernation. It’s time to really assess your distractions, procrastinations, and what no longer serves a purpose in your life, including friendships, job, environment and personal relationships. Not an easy task, but it’s time to cut out any negativity from your life or “road blocks” to the path of personal happiness. You are the creator of your destiny.

🌾This month also brings an opening to spiritual awareness, so it’s a great time to begin daily practices such as meditation, yoga, the use of mantras / affirmations and time spent in nature to realign and recharge your personal energy and align yourself with your higher purpose.
