Each month we gather, we share in ritual, ceremony and celebration, releasing all that no longer serves us and making room for beautiful things ahead.

Last night’s inclusion of Bear and Buffalo medicine made it extra special leaving our hearts full. We are honoured to share such beautiful energy together in our space.

The last Full Moon of the year is upon us and it’s a big one, traditionally known as the COLD MOON. We are inviting bear medicine into our hearts, as we prepare to step into a time of hibernation.

This moon is spiritually associated with stillness, turning inward, rest, self-care, self-evaluation and COMPLETION. This downtime is meant to help you reflect on and shed the experiences over the past 12 months, while also preparing you for the new year of the horse to come.

Focus on balancing thoughts of the past, present and future, releasing any energy that is weighing you down and begin setting intentions of clearing your plate of unwanted projects and distractions.

The closing of another year brings on celebration, excitement and opportunity to invite new phases, lessons and valuable chapters into your life.

Tomorrow marks December 1st and as we step into this last month of the year, let’s take a sacred pause.

A time to shed the last remnants of what no longer serves us, just as the Snake releases its old skin one last time.

Let’s give thanks for the teachings, the transformations and the truths revealed in 2025.

With each exhale, let’s clear space in our hearts and prepare a pathway for the coming Year of the Horse. A year of movement, freedom and renewed momentum.

While it’s special every month, there was something in the energy that everyone brought with them last night. Perhaps it was a combination of the New Moon and the Chumpi Belt that I was wearing. Grounding at its finest. My heart is so FULL. Our last Cacao Ceremony of the year will be on Monday, December 15th. We’re so looking forward to closing out 2025 with such a special heart opening and earth honouring medicine.

Yesterday we celebrated our 9 YEAR ANNIVERSARY in our brick and mortar HEALING STUDIO. A milestone that fills our hearts with deep gratitude and joy.

What began as a vision in 2010 holding our readings from home fostering a sacred space for healing, connection, and transformation then blossomed into a true community, expansion, a gathering place for souls seeking balance, peace and renewal. Today as we look back, we couldn’t be more proud.

As mentioned at last night’s Breathwork class, whether it’s one person or thirty who step through our doors, each presence is felt and welcomed with open hearts. Every visit, every conversation, every shared breath carries a common intention. To heal the mind, the body and the spirit. This shared purpose is what makes our space so special. It’s not just a studio; it’s a living, breathing circle of light, compassion and transformation.

From our one-on-one spiritual and card readings, mentorship, ceremonies, classes and crystal shop, each offering is a reflection of our devotion to the path of healing. We are profoundly humbled and deeply thankful for every person who has journeyed with us. We thank you for your trust, your energy and your willingness to show up, heal and grow with us.

As we look ahead, we carry this gratitude in our hearts and renew our commitment to holding space for all who seek peace, wisdom and reconnection.

FULL BEAVER MOON 🦫
November 5th, 2025

THE FULL BEAVER MOON is here and it’s almost time to prepare for hibernation. This month’s moon is named after beavers because this is the time of year that they are most focused and busy with building their winter dams, in preparation for the cold season.

🌙☀️The moon reflects our heart’s emotions and the sun reflects our core power. When the sun and moon cross in opposite directions it feels like butting heads! Therefore, this moon’s energy generates emotional connections and can cause conflict, as well as the amplifying of emotions, both positively and negatively.

This explains why some of us go through a phase of self-doubt or self-sabotage, feeling withdrawn and wanting to step back from projects. These destructive thoughts will get the best of you, while others around you will take advantage of your vulnerability and propel past you!

It’s time to remind yourself how far you’ve come and what’s still waiting to be accomplished. Spiritually you are ascending!! Don’t turn back now!

It’s a great time to invest in new and already established relationships and a perfect time to use the moon as a reminder in acknowledging your own emotions and bringing to the forefront, the feelings you have toward yourself and others, especially those that have been buried deeply.

This month try focusing on laying a solid foundation for your future; the flow and direction of your meaningful and purposeful life and reflect with gratitude all that has been brought to you thus far.

The crisp air of November invites me to slow down and breathe a little deeper.

I feel the cool wind brush against my skin, reminding me that change is here and it’s safe to pause.

As the world quiets and the days grow shorter, I release the rush and allow stillness to guide me.

I trust that this slower rhythm is creating space for new energy to take root.

With each breath, I welcome the calm, the change and the gentle unfolding of what’s next for me.

I welcome the opportunity to honour this season of slowing down, trusting that rest and change are part of my renewal.

Hosting monthly Full Moon ceremonies has been a Sister Mediums signature ceremonial event.

Some of the things that participants have come to take part in include; ritual, guided meditation, hands on healing, letter writing and fire release.

Bridging different healing modalities (Four Directions of Shamanism, the Four Elements and the Four Medicines of the Medicine Wheel) with a few new additions, including sound bath, we are so happy to be back at it again, with our first event on Thursday November 6th as we welcome The Full Beaver Moon.

Each day, whether we realize it or not, a quiet battle unfolds within us. A battle between fear and love, shadow and light.

The Cherokee Legend speaks of this through The Tale of Two Wolves. One walks with the spirit of peace and that heals, the other with the weight of pain and that harms.

It’s a reminder that the path we walk is shaped by the energy we choose to feed.

Let today be the day that you choose to feed the wolf of love, peace and light within.
